By participating in the event, all competitors consent to the use of their photographs and video footage for promotional purposes, including public publications and broadcasts.
For safety reasons, race BIBs are non-transferable. Participants are strictly prohibited from giving their race BIB to another person, even if they are unable to participate on event day.
Health Responsibility: Each runner is responsible for ensuring they are in good health and physically fit before participating. The Organizer is not liable for any health issues that arise during or after the event.
Runners may be disqualified if deemed physically unfit. In case of injury, medical treatment will be provided within a cost limit agreed upon by the Organizer and the hospital.
The event may be postponed or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, acts of God, or war. If the event is postponed due to weather conditions, participants will be informed of the rescheduled date.
Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards other participants, volunteers, and event staff. Any form of abusive or inappropriate behavior will lead to immediate disqualification. Littering along the race route is strictly prohibited. Participants must use designated bins for waste disposal.
On-site medical assistance will be available throughout the event. Participants are encouraged to stop and seek assistance if needed. Ignoring serious health warnings from event staff may lead to disqualification.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the event route, distance, or other event details to ensure safety and a smooth experience. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
By participating in the marathon, you agree to indemnify Kovaion Trust and its sponsors against any incidents or uncertainties that may arise. You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with your participation in the event.

To participate in a Kovai Marathon event, runners agree to the following disclaimer and to the Terms & Conditions: “I declare I will abide by the age limits set for the event and will abide by the laws and rules of Kovai Marathon. I declare that I will not compete in the race unless I am medically fit on the day of the race and that, in any event, I will compete at my own risk. I accept that the organizers, sponsors, partners, and marshals will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs, or expenses, which may arise because I participate in the event. I also hereby give my permission to use my name, quotes, video, and photographic likeness for marketing and promotional purposes. I also understand that entry fees are non-refundable. I agree to the terms and conditions before I run any Kovai Marathon Event.
